I have a 08 Tacoma and I'm installing a viper 5701. I have a couple of questions about a couple of things. First I know I have to activate the second starter wire. Do I do this with a Second relay connected to the violet wire on the aux harrnis? Second For the ignition's. The first ignition is self explanatory and the second is foggy at best. There is a pink/white wire for ignition 2 but there is also a pink/black 87a ignition 2/flex relay. Should I use this one instead of the pink/white?
Hope I filled in all the blankes.
Thanks in advance
Brandon

for the second starter use a relay activated by the (-) starter trigger output from the alarm, use pink/white for second ignition.

The violet wire is the negative starter wire for the relay. You are correct....

That sounds great but what does the pink black wire do? I just want to know now.
