Hey, I have been looking at the Pioneer Premier FH-P800BT head unit for my 2003 chevy avalanche. I wanted to know if anybody has heard anything about this head unit. If you haven't heard anything about this head unit , please tell me some other 2-DIN head units that you know are good quality but not to steep on price. Thanks

I've installed three of these units (non premier) and for the money they are solid. The iPod integration is quick. The Bluetooth works well with most phones, iPhone included. The look is great, similar to the Mcintosh gear.

The only thing that bothers me is the multi function knob, it can take some getting use to, but I would not let that deter my choice.

I did one in a 05 silverado, so the make up was pretty much identical to your Avalanche and the other one was in a  Skyline
