I am installing a Viper 5900 and the XK02 instructions indicate a "Data wire (thin Brown wire) on a female connector located from driver door, wire side of fuse box, pin A15." I cant find this wire. Is there another data wire that will for sure work? Pin 2 on the ALDL OBDII connector isnt there, no pin 2 and its too old for CAN bus. Some modules connect to the cylinder but this one calls for behind the fuse box.

Wiggle the harness in the drivers door jam. Can you see where that harness goes into the car? Its in that harness.
