I purchased a 556HW bypass module after reading a post that said it would work on my 2005 Civic LX. I downloaded the instructions for the module and it says it will only work on 01-04 Civics. Has anyone used one of these successfully on the 05?

i don't think you should have any problems.....they didn't really change anything in those 2 model years!!  I did my 02 civic, and i did my sister-in-laws 05 civic and they were pretty much identical if i remember right!!

it should work fine with that car. if you dont feel comfortable with it trade it in for a universal i think the model is 556uw, but the one you have will work for your car
