Customer would like a remote start and thinking of using a Clifford 3.5, I would certainly appreciate it if you have diagrams an tips for install  on this vehicle.  Will there be a need for the customer to give up a ignition key for the bypass?

Thanks again

Steve

Don't think you have a chance in hell, everything is hard to get at, data from ign switch, the wiring is similar to an X5 but everything about doing an alarm R/S is dificult to impossible, I did an alarm on an '02 and I even had to put an actuator in the driver's door in tandem with the factory unit because I couldn't control the locks!

If howie were a bit more feminine..."no" would mean "try a different approach". However he does more weird European cars than anyone else on this site and I'm inclined to agree on this case.
Experienced as I am, I wouldn't touch that car unless I had a friend at the Land Rover dealership and complete wiring info on the car (not just the little bit that DEI supplies you). You should call DEI, talk to their tech support and ask if they've done one. Also if they have get them to fax you the pertinent diagrams for all the wires they had to connect.
Also there is no doubt in my mind the customer would be giving up a key.
