I am having trouble removing the door panel on my uncle's 1994 Ford Ranger. There are no power windows or locks, and everything is manual. I removed the 3 screws that are on the door panel, but I can't remove the window handle. I have a window crank removal tool, but for some reason it is not grabbing on the C clip.
And once I find out how to remove the handle, I also need to know if the door panel has clips or hooks because I don't want to bend the panel if it has hooks.
I would appreciate any help I can get.

I had a 93' Explorer. It's easy. Ditch the tool and grab a small rag or something. Twist it up like you're about to snap spmebody with it and then just shimmy it in. It should grab the clip a lot easier than the tool.

Ummm.... I think on some of the Rangers there is a T-10 Torx in the middle of the big end of the handle.

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

Don't twist, yank, grab, or torque....

The large part of the handle that attaches to the door has a t-10 torx bit keeping the window crank on.
