I have a '98 Mitsubishi Eclipse and I cannot get the lock wires to work when hooked up to my keyless entry unit. My unit can be used with negative and positive wiring. I have hooked up my unlock wires and they are working fine. Any help would be appreciated.

  POWER LOCK|RED / blue                    |-  |*1

  POWER UNLOCK|BROWN / red           |-  |*1

*1 Located behind the glove box in a harness.

This should get you going.

I couldn't find them behind the glove box so I took the door panel off and tapped into the wires from there. Right as they come out of the lock module. Is this wrong??

I just checked the wiring diagram on the drivers switch, and It should work the way you have it.  I would double check your connection inside the door, and if you have a dmm, I would double check and make sure your connected to the correct wire, and also check to see if your output from the unit shows ground when you request a door lock.  If you would like, email me and i will email you back the wiring diagrams for the door locks, from Alldata.
