I'm installing power windows in my 2001 tacoma. Does anyone have a diagram of the wiring I will need to connect to a hot wire? Is there a particular wire that I need to use or will any hot wire under the steering wheel column be sufficient? Is there any things in particular that I need to look out for while installing this motor and hardware or is it pretty much self explained. Thanks

why not check for an unused fuse position in the factory block. sometimes you can get lucky and find a position that is wired even though you dont have the option it would power, such as windows, power seats, etc. might be worth doing some digging around as the cigar lighter sockets usually have rather wimpy wires and arent made to stand up to heavy current demands. a little work now can save you alot of aggravation later
