I say do it the way you have the technical support to do so. Use the parking lights like EVERYONE else.

The rear defrost..... just don't trigger it unless the vehicle is remote started.    simple.

I understand you want to do it, is the way you want to do it.... but!

Remember, ground while running is triggered a split second or 2 BEFORE remote start, stay's activated until a split second or 2 AFTER run time...

It has limited application.
