So when I went to put a new stereo in my car I found out that the factory harness was cut out. So after wiring all of the wires the radio flashes red. I dont know why. I have also noticed that the diagrams for my car none of them match. I have 2 black wires wth is that? If any1 can help me I greatly appreciate it.

a flashing stereo like you describe is notorious sign that one or more of the speaker leads are either shorted to ground or shorted to each other.

are all of the speakers actually in the car and wired properly (are there speakers missing)?

check your wiring job and make sure nothing is shorted. both at the speakers and at the radio.

I have never personally seen a grounded speaker lead make a radio flash normally it just will not play sound. A few notes on that car; If you are putting in an aftermarket radio (you did not specify) then that vehicle does not have a Acc wire. The acc is controlled through the vehicles data wire and a module (GMOS-04) is required for an aftermarket radio. In that harness there are 3 or 4 wires that are all the same color and they do not have the same function so you need to make sure you are connecting them to the appropriate places. Lastly, the problem to me with the radio flashing sounds like an undervoltage issue check that the battery is not dead, If it is OK then I would say either the constant or acc wire is not hooked up correctly and may be hooked to a wire that is not giving it 12v (Had one of my installers hook a constant 12v to a positive dimmer and it did the same thing when the dimmer was turned just slightly down) hopefully this helps a little.
