Yes...that wiring configuration will work if you want to bridge the amp.  However, the way "i am" was explaining it was to instead wire each subs voice coils in parallel, yielding a 2 ohm load per sub, then hooking each sub in stereo to your amp.  Doing it his way would present each channel (Left/Right) with a 2 ohm load, and eliminate the need for bridging your amp.
