My answer to this is Zapco. You do get what you pay for. The products are expensive, however the service life on the stuff is incredible. Even used their amps hold value. The two brands I will buy used are Zapco and the Series 7 and 8 Zed Hifonics. Two schools of thought: Buy gear that is quality, pay more and still have it 10 years later. Buy inexpensive and when it breaks and isn't worth the repair.

I think that the Audiovox was cheaper,  but I basically went on budget and what the product offered as far as options, and since I had a better feeling from the past, PYLE was a choice over Pyramid and the other guys, only to find out that they are all the same MFG parent after doing some investigating.

Oh well you live and learn (some times), till then I like my PYLE, I was just looking for idea's on  how to hook it up or wire it mo' better than what I have done

PYLE used to be good back in the day (early 80's) but I think what happened to them is what is part of this topic, sell out..... so far I am happy with it, I had an Eclipse unit, but I found a penny in the cd slot (wondered why it went kaput) that was put there by my precious 14month old baby girl, I could not get mad when I found it, just happy she has an interest in car audio.

Yep, I'm a big fan of Zapco. I remember reading a car audio mag a while ago where they tested one of the new DC 650.6 amplifier. Car Audio and Electronics published wrong specs for the amp throughout the magazine. People on the Zapco forums were heated....LOL.
