I know this topic has been beaten to death a few times, but I'm in opinions on Hushmat vs. RAAMmat.  I can get a good price on the Hushmat, but it will still be more than the RAAMmat.  These are the 2 choices I've narrowed things down to.It's going in a 64' Impala that's being restored(Had new floor/footwells welded in).  Anyone have an idea of how much I will need?No real sound system going in it unless I can convince him to atleast put a single 12" and maybe a 5 channel to power everything.  I doubt that's going to happen though.

Edit:  I've read through sound deadener showdown a couple times already also.

Well the decision will ultimately be yours. I have heard that both of those are good products. I use Dynamat Extreme, but I have always been able to get a great price on the big box of that.
As far as "how much"? Measure width and length. That's how much, in square footage. One layer? Buy that much, and add about 10%. Two layers? That much, add 10%, and double it.
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
