I have had this alarm in my car for a couple of years. Never had an issue. This past weekend I set alrmm as usual and went to bed. It went off in the middle of the night and it continues doing it about 5 minutes after I arm it. Any suggestions on what could be the issue? Di the shock go bad or maybe the motion sensor I have. I have debated disconnecting power to the brain to try to resret or something but I am afraid of causing more harm than good. I installed the alarm myself and, yes, I did this proffessionally for 6 years so I had no issues. My basic question is this common with particular alarm. This is the second one of this model I installed, and I dont have a lond history with them,my experience was with the older concept line.

Look in your owners manual under the diagnostics section, that will tell what zone tripped then you can rectify the problem.
