Yesterday I installed a RS into a 2008 Tacoma. Work fine when it left the shop. Today the customer brought it back and said that the check engine light is on and that the tranny won't engage like it should-it will stutter for a few seconds and then engage. He said it shifts like it should after it engages. I followed my wiring diagram and checked every wire since this was my first new style Tacoma. Any suggestions?

Disconnect the coil of relays one at a time.   There is a wire in that vehicle that does not like having a relay connected to it.
