SO, I made a bonehead mistake and didn't add nearly enough hardner to the second coat of body filler on a speaker pod I am making (or just didn't mix it evenly enough). I waited a week and it is still soft in spots. I tried sanding it out, but it makes a bit of a gummy mess.
Any suggestions? I could just go over it with a proper mixture?

How big are the soft spots? If there are only small and a few. Just use a butter knife to remove the soft filler

If it is random everywhere It would be best to trash it and write it up as a learning expriance. Dont think I

would cover it up. Might cause you more troubles down line.

My wife thinks bagging a truck means you kick it in the truck nuts

I say work through the gummy mess and remove it all. Just like the guy before said, use a butter/putty knife and remove all the uncured filler. Sand it lightly and start again with another batch.

Yeah, remove it all. If you go over it you can have some major problems later on.
