Its true that a bitwriter will lock you out of the brain if it is programmed to do so. But it is NOT NEEDED for remote programming.

As soon as the bitwriter unlocks the brain the remotes have to programmed using the valet switch.

Yeah i know that- but i need the bitwriter to unlock my brain before i can do anything to it.
