I have the  Pursuit Pro 9232.. When i disarm my alarm and start my truck put it into drive it arms itself.  If the truck is running and some opens the door the alarms sounds off. I have to shut the engine off disarm it and then open the door. Very embarrasing when the 4 loud sounds of my horn goes off early morning and late night.  It is going on 4 months now that i had this problem Need help!!!

Led light flashes 4 x then pause (repeat) when i arm. Check all doors everything is shut completly

Led light flashes 1x (repeat) while i am driving.

I would make 100% sure that you have the ignition wire hooked in properly. If you have it on right it should never activate when the ignition is on. If it is check for whats call hijacking mode in the operation  manual. If someone stills your car the alarm will sound while driving

You don't tell us what kind of car but my guess is the when you put the car in gear the doors automatically lock and this arms the alarm. If this is the case there are 2 issues, one, the yellow igntion wire isn't connected correctly telling the 9232 not to arm when the switch is on, and two, the disarm defeat wire isn't connected correctly telling the 9232 not to arm because all doors are locking instead of just the drivers door. Try starting the car and pressing lock on the door panel switch. If it arms it's wired wrong....

Thanks a million!!!!!!! Removed panel , grabbed  the yellow wire and Bingo there it was just hanging on by the plastic covering. Now my family does not have to wait for me shut the truck off and disarm it. alarm arms when i put in drive -- posted image.
