I am completely new to this, but thought the job would be easy.  I purchased install kit and harness.  The ford harness has 2 extra wires that do not appear on the harness that came with jvc.  One (orange with black stripe) is labeled “dimmer ground.”  The other one, (black with white stripe) is labeled amplifier ground.  Can you give me any guidance as to what should be done with these?  Should they be attached to vehicle metal or just taped off?  Thanks.

Ground them to a clean metal surface on the chassis behind the dash
