Hey i got a 97 Malibu that im wanting to put a RS on, my question is what bypass could i use? I have a dei 556lw and i was wondering if i could use that? Also how do i wire up the door locks and trunk locks on this particular car? I am using the APS620. Thanks in advance.

Your car is equipped with Passlock II. Your DEI unit should work just fine. Your door locks can be found in the drivers kick and they are unlock-white and lock-blue both positive. Your trunk release is black and can be found in the drivers kick or at the switch this is also positive. You will need a DLP module (door lock polarity) or use a relay to change the output of the alarm from negative to positive. You will need to do this for the trunk release too. Follow this diagram for the door locks if you do not use a DLP and for the trunk release
