Supposedly the best thing out there, the longevity of a battery, yet precision of a capacitor.Basically takes out having to buy a new battery for bigger systems and upgradeing your alternator(or getteing another one) for your cap. Any take on the matter, or if they are good as what they say they are?

"Supposedly the best thing out there" This should tell you right off the bat it's marketing BS. It's a cap set on top of an Optima battery."Revolutionary" yeh right. Ten other companies offer the same product some making even more outlandish claims. You must make energy first and foremost hence Alternator. Store energy all you want, if you can't charge it, it's dead weight.

Audiocableguy is correct............ ALOT more to gain by upgrading your alternator as opposed to adding a cap.

You, my friend, are an advertiser's DREAM! (I am saying that to be funny, not insult you) You are JUST the guy they are writing those adverts for.
Audiocableguy said it best: "Marketing BS". You cannot just magically "get power" from a cap, a battery, or a hybrid device such as this. The source of ALL power in the car is the alternator, address that first.
Ask yourself this: If i sit in my driveway, listening to the stereo without my engine running, will my Power Acoustik Capcell eventually go dead, just like a "regular battery" will? Of course it will, because you have no charging source.
Take this same situation, but charge your capcell or any regular battery with an under-rated alternator. What happens? If you are not making enough power from the alternator to replace ALL the energy your accessories are using, the charge gets lower and lower on the battery... No magical capcell can prevent this from happening.
You MUST address the charging source.
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
