yes, another one of these questions, which would be louder?
2 15" kicker CVR's in a dual chamber 5.9 cu. ft. with a port tuned to about 30 htz (2.8 cubes per sub) running on 1000 watts (sub facing back, port facing back)
OR
1 18" FI BL in a 4.1 cu. ft. box with a port tuned to 35 htz also on 1000 watts (sub facing up, port facing back)
this would be in the trunk of a 2001 honda civic with no sound deadening (soon to come). hope i was specific enough.

The CVRs would probably be louder. The Fi would likely sound better. NEITHER will sound really good, though. (IMO)
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

will is it 1000 watt to both 15" subs or 1000 watt to each.
They are both loud but 2-15" push more air but the 18" subs push alot of are too.
Like someone said in here really depends on the box and the setup of the system
