2: Running only one voice coil will not gain you anything worth the effort. Less than 3dB.

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

Well, it WAS a link to the sticky "Running one VC on a DVC sub", and you can get to it on the car audio forum page. It's the 9th topic from the top.

I see what I did. Try this again... sub not hitting all frequencies - Page 2 -- posted image.
