system setup advice

Getting ready to re-work the system in my 03 Mach 1 and could use a bit of advice.

I am planning on using a 3 way component set from either Raimbow or CDT for the front. I have not yet decided on the rear fill yet but more than likely will just be some 5 1/4" or 6 1/2" woofers setup with a bandpass filter on them.

For a sub I am re-using my RF HE2 DVC 12" sub.

Amps I will be using 2 PPI A404.2 Art series amps that I have been having since new.

Now I was considering mounting the sub in reverse so that the basket is exposed to view rather than the cone. So will I loose any output doing this, also how much airspace would the cone of the speaker add to the box? I am going to build a sealed box so reverse mounting would allow me to build a smaller enclosure but how much smaller?

As for the front stage. Currently I have 6 1/2" Infinity seperates with the woofer mounted in the stock door location and the tweeter mounted in the factory tweeter location which is on the top of the door, basicly at the inside of the sideview mirror. Going to a 3 way system I will probably have to mount the mid in the kick panel. I am planning on building new kicks and sealing them up so the woofer gets a sealed enclosure. So if I put the 6" in the door, 4" in the kick, should I put the tweeter back in the factory tweeter location high on the door, or should I try to put the tweeter either in the door with the 6" or in the kick with the 4"?
