You've got me confused...what is it you are trying to do??

Most vehicles can have systems installed to them, you may need to use resistors for different functions though.

Can you elaborate for us.

in some of the vehicles that we work on in thr uk we are finding that there are more vehicles coming out with multiplex wiring this is when data is sent through cables not just pos or neg or various voltages,

example: mitsubushi galant evo7 electric window lift

there are only five wires going to the switch assembly and it controls 4 windows and the window lock

i have also been told that if you take the moter out of the drivers door and put it in any other door it would only operate if it sees the multiplex pulse from the drivers door switch so all the moters see the pulse but only work when they get the right code

they say that it cuts down on unnessesery cables and weight

can anyone help

There are modules that are called databus interface modules that control many of the features you are talking about. take a look at www.bypasskit.com and they will have almost all of the available kits that have been made this far. They dont have one for the mitsubishi windows yet though. You may be able to grab the wires for the rest of the windows under the dash though.

A multiplex system does not normally carry a code. The voltage on the wire is different for different functions.

You must ascertain the resister value to replicate the function. The circuit to be tested must be disconnected from the load when testing the resistor value.
