Hey all, Will be installing a r/s into a 08 Santa Fe shortly and was wondering, apparently you can grab the tach wire behind the instrument cluster. does anyone know how hard or the particulars to get  that front panel off. also was wondering if the bcm is easy to get to as well.

Any insight or tips or past experience would be greatly appreciated

Here is what Audiovox says...........

TachometerBLUE/ORANGE(AC)IN HARNESS IN PASSENGER KICKPANEL

It also has a note that the wire may be white.......otherwise you could use an injector wire-the uncommon color wire

Can also go to any fuel injector and use the wire that is NOT pink or orange.

tach is blue/orange behind the cluster very easier to remove 2 screws on the shroud then 4 screws on the cluster. In hyundais the injectors are less reliable so it's better if you use the signal behind the cluster
