you can use disarm wire to unlock and negative starter output to relock

with a diode of course

Connect the disarm and unlock wires of the Viper to the unlock in the car, connect the lock and rearm wires of the Viper to the lock wire of the car.

really? mine does and it is pretty old. the wires aren't on the main harness, it's on the H2 harness. colors are GREEN / WHITE (-) factory rearm and light GREEN/ black (-) factory disarm.
just hook the fartory rearm wire to your lock wire and the disarm to your unlock

why do you need to unlock then re-lock? can't just use the disarm wire?

The disarm wire will most likely also unlock the doors on that car.
But have you already tried without connecting it?
That car will probably just disarm all by itself upon remote start. Give it a try.
