Does anyone on this board have the following install or owner experience with the following remote start car alarms;
- Viper 5901 Responder
- Clifford 50.7x
- Autopage RS727
I'm looking to get a remote start alarm real soon and have narrowed my options down to those three listed. Right now I have my mind set on the Viper 5901, I just want to see what others think especially those who have the experience with installs.

I would actualy stay away from the new viper units. They have been having a lot of problems with the remotes and antenna.

X2 on the viper or if your able of getting an older unit like 5900 i would strongly recommend it viper is among the best but as of right now the new systems they have its been nothing but problem from remotes losing programing to antennas

Ok so in that case the Clifford 50 is my best shot then, right.

I think the Clifford and the Viper are the same product,  haven't launched them here so not sure.

They are. AutoPage makes some pretty, damn realiable and bullet proof R/S systems.

Ideal - cmon dude, add to topics in a useful manner, not stuff that is obvious.
Story - Phzzzt! Hey, what happened?! ... Isn't it obvious?
Moral - Never dismiss the obvious.

id go with the viper or clifford for range or if you just want to say you own a "viper"...the autopage for an easy and neat installation and mos def reliability.
