No need to mess with resistors, or using a different sized fuse, or using the WHITE/ brown 87a wire from the remote start.
Two choices:
1. Use the black, negative-trigger wire in the parking light switch coming down the steering column with the ignition wires. Put the remote starter's fuse in the "negative" parking light position.
Note that if you leave the Toyota's light switch in the "AUTO" position, the black wire at the column does not work. Only use the black wire if you never leave the lights on Auto.
OR:
2.
Driver's doorsill, in the harness going to the rear of the car, the biggest brown wire is positive parking lights.
Connect the remote starter's white wire here, and place the fuse in the "positive" position.

Thanks chris

I got the parking light working on positive flashing when remote start.  However, it only works when i turn the light switch to OFF.  When i turn the switch to AUTO.  The parking light and lowbeam head light will come on solid at night or when it is dark out when remote start.  If I turn the car off using remote start or when remote start running out of time and shut the car down itself, the parking/headlight will stay on and never go off.   I will drain the battery if this case happens.   Is there a way to fix this issue?

Thanks,
dcd
