Hope you guys can help.
I'm installing an alarm on my focus and I'm having a problem finding the door trigger wire. The wiring diagram indicates its the bk/bl and when i connect it to that wire, (in the lower dirvers kick panel) the alarm doesn't go off when i open the door. I then connected it directly to the door trigger and still nothing. (by that I mean the BLACK/ blue on the door itself/door ajar switch). Is this the correct one??
It's a 4 door sedan.
Not sure if there is one factory wire that control all the doors or do I have to run wires to each switch?
Alarm being installed is an Avital Diablo 2, the door trigger wire from the alarm is white.
Hope you guys can give me some tips on this.

All that the alarm is looking for the domelight to come on.  You could try going directly to the dome light itself  -- go from the driver's 'A' pillar, and you should find the wire that trigger's the alarm from there. Use your DMM to verify the polarity of this wire.

If I have an idea, and you have an idea and we share ideas, then we each have two Ideas, together we have four.

Given your user name I'm going to assume that the Focus is a 2001. If so here is the location of the door trigger for all doors: Look for the BLACK/ BLUE wire found at the 15 pin connector & it's number 13 pin (-) trigger.
