avital system programming

I wanted to know was there a easier way to program the newer units without using the program button.i have heard the using the bitwriter is hit or miss. is there another tool that i can use that would be reliable and fast.

Bitwriter hit or miss? Using a Bitwriter or programming button are the only ways I am aware of to program DEI features. The bitwriter adds the ability for fine tuning some programming options, for example, the remote start run time can be set to 12, 24, or 60 minutes with the button but using the bitwriter you can set it to say 45 minutes. I find the DEI programming button easier than most other brands out there, but most are simple enough once you are used to programming them. What problems are you having?Installer, IT support, and FFL. I need less hobbies.

Also keep in mind that tp program the new Avital systems and newer DEI products you need version 2.6 that also comes withe the new cable for the new Avital systems.Luis
