okay so if i follow that diagram which i will and i use a mono channel amp lets say the ZX1000.1 wiring it that way does it put 500 watts to each sub? and with that diagram do i add the ohms together like lets say the subs are each at 1 ohm does that make it a 2ohm system and if the subs are at 4 ohms does that make it an 8ohm system

yes if you wire it that way you will have 500 watts rms to ech sub. 

if you hook 2 voice coils that are 4 ohm as + to + and - to -   that will give you a 2 ohm load if you take 2   4ohm voice coils run one + to the other voice coils - then the remaining + and -  to your amp it will be a 8ohm load

so which situation do u have laid out in your diagram the second one where its both positives to the positive terminal and both negatives to the negative terminal so that it would be an 8 ohm system

im sorry if im being annoying about it but im just not understanding what your saying i guess im not really sure how a subwoofer is set up with the voice coils and all and the ohms

hey i forgot to tell you while we was on the phone but you only need a kicker ZX750 to run thos subs a zx1000 will be to much. so if you do use a 1000 be carfull because it will be to much power.
