you will want a mono amp for a subwoofer.

I went to a local audio store and they recommended either of these amps...

Orion

either of those amps would be fine. personally i would want an amp that is 1 ohm stable even though you will be running your sub at 2 ohms, it just gives you an upgrade option if you ever want to add another sub
