Not sure on the brand of immobilizer, but they have to be installed for insurance purposes. Also has the factory anti-theft.You need to swipe a little tag near a sensor to power up the ign. in order to start the car with the keys.

This after market immobilizer is supposed to be by-passed in order for the remote start to operate.

I can only get my park lights to flash twice .

Just went out and tried again.

When i sit in the car and trigger the start, nothing happens,no lights or relays. If i trigger the lock/unlock,the parking lights will flash once or twice and i hear  coresponding clicks from a relay.

Just tried the programing again using the button on the ant. with the car running.I can hear 3 clicks at the module, but no park lights flash.

What does the remote look like is it one way or 2way?
Using the button on the antenna does not program the tach.

So how are you trying to program the tach?
Also how do you know that the remote starter is a 4200 model?
How are you attempting to put it into and take it out of valet mode?
Be specific what buttons are you pushing and how long are you holding them for?
You said that you put it in and took it out of valet mode how do you know it was in valet mode?

When i tried to program the tach,I did as one mentioned, with the car running push the button on the brain(ant) and see how many times the park lights flash.Mine did not flash only heard 3 clicks.

I pulled the module down from uder the dash to see the model number and make of it.

I went into valet mode as per the instruction book of holding the lock/unlock/trunk button for 1/2 second.Have also done the key on/off 5 times within 7 sec.

When i trigger start i hold the button for 1/2 sec, release then the light on my remote will flash.
