Alpine 9887 with bluetooth and HD radio modules.

Thanks.  Looks like a good unit but I want both built in.  Seems thats not possible unless I go Dual.  I still don't understand why a manufacturer wouldn't build an HU with both Bluetooth and HD built in.  Can anyone answer that question?  Are they coming out soon?  Or are manufacturers just not interested in such a thing?

Because to do it right would make the head unit cost too much, and not everyone needs or wants those functions.  I cannot recommend strongly enough to NOT buy anything called "Dual."  It is bottom-feeder flea-market crap that sounds like a wet fart in a cardboard box and not only that, it's not very good.

why put it all in one when they can make more money by making you buy separate modules. and also, good manufacturers wont do it probably because of the space it would take up inside of a normal sized radio. i can see it happening in a double din radio, but not single din. to cram, and i really mean cram, all of that into a single din radio while trying to maintain a certain level of quality that their customers expect and standard features and power ratings, it must be very hard to do and just not practical right now to have it all in one. DUAL makes one because they are not concerned with the quality or fidelity of anything they make, you get what you pay for.
