so i am running 2 amps.. and i just rewired them.. the only thing i did different is that i ran 2 separate positive wires from the battery.. and now on only 1 of the amps.. it has like a static noise? even when the car is shut off... no clue what is causing this..
it never did it before when i just used a 2 amp distribution box.. so it split off into 2 wires from the box.. but only had 1 wire coming from the battery?

oh i found out that it is the radio playing in the background when i have a cd in.. if i turn the volume down i can still hear the noise.. but i had my radio on a station with no music and just static.. when i changed the radio station to an actual station.. i could hear it in the background instead of the static noise... so its interfering somehow?
i am an idiot

Sounds like you may have a grounded speaker wire or a damaged RCA cable... or it could be your HU is defective or just really poorly made.

never assume equipment (amp) hasn't failed. if you can, stay away from jensen and low end equipment
