doing some research on viper 5901 alarm

I am doing some research right now, both here and with Google on the Viper 5901 Alarm│Remote Start system. It seems to use some pretty sophisticated technology and I am hoping it makes the install less arduous than when I installed the 791XV. This is direct from Viper: "XpressPort™ - Dock the Innovations Award-winning CANMAX400DEI databus interface into the Responder LC3 CPU, for a direct digital connection to virtually every new vehicle and databus architecture on the planet." Am I correct in understanding this means that for window control, trunk release or door lock control, the alarm would interface through the databus connection? Does anyone have this alarm installed on their 03-05 Z?
