my 2000 tahoe will not start.

Hi Robertsc.
The problem is not opening the door. To start the car you have to press the unlock key on the remote control prior to turning the key. That you have to do every time you start the car.
If not the engine starts and runs for a second or so.
If it is possible to disable this function i will be happy to know.
I will not disable it on permanet basis, but only when i cant start due to RF inteference.

Nothing factory requires you unlock before starting so there must be a aftermarket antitheif device that need to be removed,if thats what it is?
