I installed a computstar pro 2wssr in a 2003 Acura RSX-Type s.  I recently recieved the PKH 34 for the immobilizer bypass to remote start.  I know where 4 wires connect to but there are 3 wires that confuse me.

PKH34 wire orange connects to cars ignition input (BLACK / YELLOW), Is this the 12 guage ignition wires or is this the keysense?

PKH34 wires pink/white, and pink connects to vehicle's security light wire (blue/orange) keyside and ecm side.  Where is this wire located?  Is in the green plug or the blue plug by where you insert the key?  I don't see a blue/orange wire either?  Also, what does the security light wire have to do with remote starting in the car?

I appreciate any help on this matter.   Thanks in advance for the help.

I don't think anyone will give you accurate advice, until you include your Make/Model vehicle, as stated in the sticky.

do you know the car color wires are?  I don't see the colors that the install manual for the PKH34 says.

  • There is a seven pin plug(GREEN) at the key cylinder.
  • Pin 1 is GROUND and colored BROWN / YELLOW.
  • Pin 2 is DATA and colored RED / BLUE.
  • Pin 5 is Security Light and colored BLUE/ORANGE.
  • Pin 6 is IGN and colored BLACK / YELLOW.

Regardless of what the manual says, you can not get a 12V+ source using the D2D interface. You must either use W2W for a 12V+ source or modify your by-pass, as seen here. However, the module can still use the GROUND source from the D2D interface. Also remember, the PKH34 creates a "secure link", when using the D2D interface.

Your welcome. However, my bulleted text provided you with no more information, than what was in the manual.

Well, I wired all of the wires as with the previous post and still doesn't work.  The car will remote start if the key is inserted.  I have double checked the wires and it is connected correctly.  I am at a lost now and don't what do I need to do now?

It says to reset the PKH34 unplug then hold the button until the light turns off.  Well am I suppose to insert the key while doing this? Because if the key is not inserted then the light doesn't turn on.
