I'm looking for an installer. I bought a Viper 5901 with remote start and auto up-down window module. I was going to install myself but have decided I’m not capable. I own a 2008 F350 Harley Davidson with factory alarm. I live in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl Any recommendations would be appreciated.
Also, I was wondering if its possible to hook it up in a way that It will deactivate and activate the Viper alarm using the keypad on the outside of the door?
Thanks in advance!

I used the search engine and looked for "key pad output". It gave me several good hits on this search. Look for "car alarm w/ keypad keyless entry" and there is a reply by "dualsport" which I think you will find worthwile.

I hope this helps.

Why ask a question you know the answer to?  Anyway, enlighten me. As far as I know, the 5901 has no input for external activation/de-activation.  If it did, wouldn't that be the easiest way to by-pass the alarm?

My intentions were not to insult, sorry.
I did not know this was possible is why I asked. Since my post a man installed my alarm and hooked it up so I can dis-arm the alarm with my keypad. I have no idea how he did it. I asked and he said it was a trade secret.
