Well, I bought an extra 1 way remote for my Viper 5901. Could somebody help me figure out how to program it into the 5901?

It states that DEI prefers that a professional program the remote. No directions.

Can someon respond to this post? I have a 5501 and I need to program a 1 way remote.

click and hold the function button for 3 seconds then press function again till car 2 is illuminated. Then do your normal programing.

1) Press  the f button on the remote until the led stays on

2) Press the start button until it flashes 3 times
3) Turn ignition swith to on position
4) On the antenna. do the following with the switch....press / release / press and hold...You'll hear a horn chirp...
5) Press the lock button on the remote, you should hear a horn chirp..
6) Release switch and turn off ignition switch...you'll hear another chirp
You are done.....
