I installed a Viper 5901 in an 02' F150 extended cab (two door triggers). I caught each door trigger in their respective harness coming out the door (blk/yel & blk/pnk). I diode isolated each coming into the 5901. They work perfectly fine, alarm goes off with the opening of each, and when the doors are closed the 2-way pager does not give me a door ajar warning when arming the system. The problem I am having is that after about sitting for an hour armed, the alarm will go off and the reason given is a door is open, when they have been closed all along. Do these trucks send a pulse to the doors periodically, or did I do something wrong? I did a 97 Explorer some time back and it was doing the same thing so I just grabbed the domelight, should I do the same here? Thanks in advance.
