I want to install an aftermarket keyless entry system in my wife's 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan SE, that we bought used. It has electric locks, but no security system. Just has a regular key with a black rubber head which I don't think is chipped (pic attached). I have had trouble finding the wiring diagram for the '06, but I am guessing it still has a single wire that needs 2k Ohm and 5.2K Ohm resistors for lock/unlock like the '05. Is that correct?
I was also considering using a BCM interface, so I could easily hook up the dome light, horn, etc. I am not sure which model would be correct because most reference the sentry system which we do not have. Would the directed 457CW7 work?
Thanks 2006 grand caravan keyless entry - Last Post -- posted image.
