i have the subs facing the rear of my car. the reason being i made a custom setup and maybe rotating the box might not look ok. but i know you are going to get on my case about this but when i used my phone to check the db i got the same numbers. so idk if thats because of the phone not being precise or the sound level is the same

You are getting the same reading because you have reached the limit of the microphone in your phone.

that may be the case, but i was tinkering with my subs amplifer settings and i got the phones db reader to hit 102/103. but like what was posted before i need a real db reader. where is a good place to buy one
