ok my car will arm but the door locks wont lock and unlock. it just stopped working after my battery dyed one day

since we're sharing problems, my uncle's ignition switch went bad today, i changed it, the part was original, connected it back, found the stater relay was being energized constantly, with the new switch, car was really old, located the relay in the engine bay and rewired it, now it works like a charm.
