It makes no difference once you isolate the second ign., surely you know the sound difference between your factory alarm and the DEI Solaris?

spent all of today doing all the above and now im left with it working only if i leave the key in it.

there is a sensor on the lock barrell so wondering if that has got somthing to do with it??

has anyone got a wiring diagram for the ignition system and alarm system as theres somthing somewhere that isnt getting the power from I/S or the right signal from the alarm its self??

You're still getting it all wrong, you have to by-pass the factory transponder, DEI 556U or remove chip from key, test around antenna on ign switch, then glue to antenna ring and away you go, although the 556U will work and it's safer, use the blue/orange wire from the I/Start lV to trigger it. Bloody amateurs.

Theres two small gray wires coming off this have tried glueing the chip to the antenna but dosnt work only time it will start and fire up is if i just stick the key in and pull it out and thats with no chip anywhere near it so could the sensor on the lock barrel be triggered by somthing else?

What can I say, that's how I always do this but then maybe you should take it to a specialist, get them to rip it all out and start again, it will cost you more money and less grief.

If Howie can't help you, we sure can't.  We know nothing about French cars.

Well the original poster doesn't seem to want to listen to me and I'm the only one in either UK or US who has any experience of these mustard cars.
