Just so everyone knows in 4th Gen. VW"s putting an after market radio in will cause many smog shops to not smog the car. The reason being even if using a wiring harness the factory plug uses a canbus(data) system which will test as a accessory at 10.5 volts and still work to turn on radio but will damage the scanner used by the smog shop. The way around this is to use the canbus integration harness or for more cost effective solution grab the accessory of the ign. harness or off the f use box.
