Hi all. Im working on an 03 liberty. Im stalling the avatail 4100 remote start with keyless entry and i have the xpresskits DLPKCHG1. According to this it should use my factory keyless entry system with the aftermarket keyfobs. I hooked up everything and the remote start works fine, parking lights are good, but when i hit the door lock unlock the lights blink but they it doesnt lock or unlock. Anyone have this trouble? and am i right in saying because of this bypass kit i dont have to worry about diodes or relays?

The door lock wires from the remote start are going to the bypass...? Are you going d2d or w2w...?

On the bypass, there is a door lock and a door unlock and a trunk pop wire that all tie into the aftermarket alarm wires. It also has a wire going to the factory disarm and a wire doing to a data line which i tied into at the cars data plug. There is also a d2d plug that i plugged in from the bypass to the alarm but honestly i think it only controls the GWR wire.

Yes i connected the bypass lock and unlock to the RS lock and unlock. I didnt see anything about programming the data line input but ill take a look. I only remember 2 programming modes, which type of install and if it has a factory alarm or not.

ahh the violet/white wire goes to the BCM Plug. there are 2 plugs, its going to the smaller one (22 pins i think) and its going to pin 9 lt GREEN/ orange. Now according to the bypass instructions it wanted pin 14 with factory alarm which they said was violet/lt blue or pin 21 without factory alarm which they said was violet/Dark green. Well i didnt see either colors on those pins so i looked at my wiring sheet and it said factory disarm was the pin 9 GREEN/ orange and that was there. As im typing this it sounds like you found the issue but whats the solution?

That install manual does not even show the car your working on...Maybe im missing something...On the flash-it website they list this as the BCM wire ... Not sure if this is the same connection...Normally when you flash the bypass...It gives you a oppurtunity to download most recent install guide (after firmware downloads...)...Maybe it will list your car wiring instructions...

yea i know but when you look at the compatibility chart it shows an o3 liberty. The wire you listed was from another site? that is supposably the factory alarm activation? ill definately take a look at that. Ive also been searching for a pinout of the BCM plugs but i havent found one yet.
    Thanks for al your help
