Ok, here goes. I have a Kenwood KDC-X792, it's got all the cool features of USB input, g-anylizer, graphics ect... I hook up my ol trusty 8 GB Ipod through the USB port and choose the graphic to read out the Artist and Song title. Here's the basic problem. The right little Multifunction Button on the deck is suppost to work to where you twist it and it goes into your MP3 players media file and read it out on the screen so you can pick which file you wanna play. I know your supppost download the files in the main menu section of the settings of the deck under the File Download section. But, when i try to do that, is says "Scanning" "Scanning" and then "Can't Download." The deck will read out the Song Title and Artist name but i can't go in and pick a file. Can anyone give me any insight on what to do. Thanks

just wondering on how up-to date your i-pod is.  i know there has been some issues with older versions of software on i-pods that don't like to sync up with new head units.  just my .02
