A search for "capacitor still dimming"  Yields 30 results  https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/search.asp?KW=capacitor+still+dimming&SM=1&SI=PT&FM=0&aid=199561&OB=1

A search for "capacitor quit dimming" Yields 2 results.  https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/search.asp?KW=capacitor+quit+dimming&SM=1&SI=PT&FM=0&aid=199561&OB=1&Submit=Start+Search

those are results that are not relevant to MY truck. MY lights stop dimming AFTER the installation of a capacitor... I dont want to be compared to other vehicles as an ANSWER because I dont drive their vehicles. I didnt Install their systems. They have nothing to do with ME. I just want a logical and hopefully short and sweet answer. Thanks.

I can't hear you!

The cap may work for a lil bit but will discharge after a few songs and then its just there.
Use a 2nd batt with a fuse
Our smallest batt has more power than 100 caps
Size 7"x 3"x 6.5"
This batt will start a V8

Did you install the cap with no other changes to your system and the lights stopped dimming? If so, you are masking a  much larger problem with your electrical system that can "only" be fixed by getting a high output alternator (more amps than stock) for your vehicle.

If you installed the cap and made some other changes at the same time, which we don't know about because you didn't tell us, still see the answer shown above.

To the original poster, your stereo is taxing the electrical system of your vehicle beyond what it can keep up with. A telltale sign is headlight dimming. Improve your electrical system and the problem will be taken care of. Adding more electronics to your stereo system will not help in the long run.
